Holiday entitlement is accrued on all hours worked. The statutory rate of holiday accrual is currently 12.07%.

Employment cost deductions are legal employer costs paid by the umbrella company. The worker’s umbrella rate is uplifted to cover these costs, so the agency is already paying for them within the agreed rate. They are deducted before the worker’s gross pay is worked out.
