A leading manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Area Reliability Engineer to take ownership of maintenance and reliability activities across a key production area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer looking to influence engineering strategy, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and improve equipment reliability within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role
- Lead maintenance and reliability strategy across a designated production area.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to increase uptime, performance, and capacity.
- Manage preventative maintenance plans, work orders, calibrations, and equipment overhauls.
- Support capital projects and plant improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to optimise performance.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and engineering standards.
About You
- Multi-skilled engineering background.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong understanding of maintenance and reliability principles.
- Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment.
- Confident working cross-functionally and leading engineering projects.
