Meet Claire

I am the Group Operations Director at Orion, bringing over 25 years of service to the business. With operations positioned at the heart of the organisation, I thrive on collaborating with sales, finance, IT, marketing, and senior leadership teams to align strategies. My in-depth understanding of the business enables me to connect teams and support Orion’s long‑term success.

What attracted you to working at Orion, and what were your reasons for joining?

After beginning my journey with Orion earlier in my career, I had a 14-month stint away from the business before returning in 2010. I was drawn back by the people, the culture, and Orion’s ambition.  I wanted to be back and part of Orion’s journey.

What is your proudest achievement at Orion?

My success story! 

What do you enjoy most about your role at Orion?

I have a genuine passion for helping people grow, develop, and succeed. Supporting teams to reach their potential is a huge motivation. I also love creating more efficient ways of working, streamlining processes so the business can run smoother and faster, and achieving growth.  I love the problem-solving and variation of my role.

What are your interests outside of work?

Spending time with my family and friends, taking trips and watching football.
