Meet Daniel

I am a Principal Recruitment Consultant specialising in technical and engineering recruitment, with eight years of progressive experience in the industry. I’ve built my career working exclusively within engineering and manufacturing markets, developing deep sector knowledge and a strong network of both clients and candidates.

I understand complex technical skillsets and niche roles and deliver both contract and permanent recruitment solutions.

What attracted you to working at Orion, and why did you join?

I was attracted to Orion because of its reputation in engineering recruitment and focus on specialist markets. The company’s performance-driven culture and earning potential really stood out, along with the collaborative working environment.

What is your proudest achievement at Orion?

I’ve used my experience in engineering recruitment to build strong relationships from the outset and start placing technical roles within a short space of time.

What do you enjoy most about your role at Orion?

I enjoy the pace of recruitment and pride myself on hitting the ground running in any role. I’m particularly motivated by placing technical positions, as it allows me to apply my knowledge of engineering markets while delivering real value to clients.

There’s a lot of satisfaction in understanding a complex requirement, finding the right talent, and seeing that placement make a genuine impact on a business.

What are your interests outside of work?

I regularly go running and to the gym, which helps me stay focused and maintain a good balance alongside a busy role. I’ve also recently got into padel, which is something I enjoy socially. Outside of that, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
