Jon Gillot

Meet Jon

I head up the Construction Division, where we specialise in the supply of contract Trades and Labour to the construction sector.

I have 25 years’ experience in the sector and have witnessed many peaks and  down turns during this time, including a variety of legislation changes.

My team and I pride ourselves on always going the extra mile to deliver often at short notice to help our clients keep projects on track

What attracted you to working at Orion, and what were your reasons for joining?

Orion have always been a great believer in employing people with market knowledge in the sector they are working in.

As a senior manager, it helps massively that our consultants know the language used in construction and this gives our clients confidence that we will get things right.

What is your proudest achievement at Orion?

To still be here many years later in an industry that is fast paced and sometimes very difficult, but still as motivated as ever with great support from my staff and senior management team.

What do you enjoy most about your role at Orion?

Seeing people’s hard work and determination pay dividends when they grow solid relationships with our long term clients.

What are your interests outside of work?

I like getting away from it all, touring on my motorbike around the UK and Europe.
