Meet Lee

I’m a seasoned recruitment specialist with almost 30 years’ experience helping contractors and permanent employees find suitable work, and assisting businesses to meet their goals by providing them with high quality Design and Project based resource.

I advise both clients and contractors on current market trends and IR35, and I work with companies in a variety of industries, including Machinery & Automation, Defence, Process Plant & Equipment and Product Design.

What attracted you to working at Orion, and what were your reasons for joining?

After running my own contracting agency for 15 years, I decided I wanted to be part of a larger organisation. Given my knowledge of who my competitors were then, there was only one company that had a reputation as somewhere I would want to be, Orion.

What is your proudest achievement at Orion?

I have hit many milestones, targets and incentives since being with Orion, but consistently being a top contract biller is what I’m most proud of.

What do you enjoy most about your role at Orion?

The people.  I’ve been very fortunate to work alongside some very good recruiters and support staff over the years. They make it a great place to work.

What are your interests outside of work?

When I’m not working, most of my time is spent with my wife and sons, and taking my dog to my local pub. I also enjoy watching football and spinning vinyl on my 1210’s.
